Hello dear friends! Our lives have been a bit hectic around here with so many activities going on that at times I feel like I’m in a bit of a tail spin. That’s when I try to make time to do something I truly enjoy, which is cook a nice meal and set a pretty table. I’ve had this one set for 4 days now, waiting for the opportunity to finish it up and fix that nice meal. In the meantime I get to enjoy the pretty fall dishes I picked up at Home Goods last week.
The plates are quite adorable and can be used all fall. Don’t you love the pretty ruffled edges and brilliant fall colors?
I then picked up a few napkins at Kohl’s on clearance that go with this set so nicely. The napkin rings, those cute little acorn napkin rings come from Pier 1 for $1.50 each. Score!
And now I just need some fall accents like mini pumpkins and squash to sit around the table to bring it all together.

Very pretty plates. I enjoy eating from pretty plates and drinking from pretty cups and glasses…sort of the same as writing on new stationary with a pretty pen…makes a routine activity seem special.
