Magnolia trees reminds me of the southern states where they loom large and bloom extensively filling the air with their sweet scent. (Photo courtesy of Hilton Pond)
This year we had a beautiful bloom on our own magnolia trees (below). What is blooming in your garden or in your area right now?

Beautiful, isn’t it?

Oh and look who is helping grandma “drive” the lawnmower, LOL
Watch out dad, she’s already asking for her learners permit.

Did you know there are plenty of Magnolia trees out West as well? When I lived in California, I saw plenty of them planted in the median strips and along the road. They are lovely. The pink Japanes Magnolias were not as common as the white ones. Around here the Japanese (pink) Magnolias are still blooming, but are starting to come to an end and the big white ones have not begun to bud as of yet. They’ll be a little later.
Have a lovely Sunday!
